Jennifer Cox, M.D. has been practicing Pediatrics in Salt Lake since 1995.


Dr. Cox received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama (1986) and her Doctor of Medicine from University of Alabama at Birmingham (1990). She did two years of Pediatric residency at the University of Utah and transferred to complete her residency at Rush-Presbyterian-St.Luke's hospital in Chicago, where her husband was in school.

She has been board certified with the American Academy of Pediatrics since 1993.

Dr. Cox has served as President of the Medical Staff and Credentials Chair at Primary Children's hospital. She has training in lactation issues and offers consultations for mothers who are having breastfeeding problems.

Dr. Cox is originally from New York, but has lived in Michigan, Alabama, and Illinois. She is now firmly settled in Utah with her husband and three children. In her free time, she enjoys travel, knitting, and yoga.
